A fruity kind of breakfast tea, of which I have to admit the tea overpowers most of the fruit flavour, which remains hidden behind the more bitter notes and only occasionally surfaces. It might be better with milk? That might even out the flavours a bit more, I will definitely try that next time.

Not a bad tea at all, lovely combination of floral and fruity. It has a sweetness to it but also allows the fresh taste of the green tea to come through.

Flavors: Fruity, Rose

Another really subtle tea, it’s smooth and pleasantly drinking with the coconut giving it just that bit of extra flavour. Not sure if this particular combination is quite for me though

Interesting, I had never tried a purple tea before and I have to say I am enjoying it. It reminds me a bit of oolong, but less vegetative and more fruity in flavour? subtle, yes, but nice. I can’t see myself reach for this often, as I usually enjoy bolder flavours, but I’m glad to have tried it!

I really like this. Smells amazing out of the bag, like a spice market. Once steeped it tastes a lot like a mint based tea with notes of licorice on the back. the black tea does not entirely disappear, though, lending this brew a bit of bitterness

Flavors: Bitter, Cinnamon, Licorice, Mint

I want to like this tea, I really do. I got it at a local farmers market from a very nice lady, but so far it has rather put me off. Luckily the scent of paint thinner disappears when the tea is steeped (perhaps it is the packaging?) and once brewed it smells mostly of hibiscus, which is presumably also what makes it rather tart. Once a sweetener is added (against recommendation) the cherry flavour does bloom, reminding of pie filling. From there it is not an unpleasant drink at all… now if only I could get past that first impression. WIll have to try it again at a later date.

Let’s be honest, this tea does not have a complex or appealing flavour profile: it tastes of liquorice. It’s my guilty pleasure to significantly oversteep it and get a cup that tastes like chewing on a liquorice root, and it’s very good at that.

Flavors: Licorice Root

Pleasant strong brew without too many bells and whistles. Being used to flavoured teas, I do struggle to pinpoint the flavour profile of a pure black tea such as this.

Flavors: Tannic

I had not had this tea in a while, but it pleasantly surprised me today making me wonder why I don’t drink it more often. It’s got nice notes of vanilla that are underlined by notes of liquorice making it sweeter. It does indeed remind of caramel, but a burnt, dark kind of caramel, akin to burnt sugar more than caramel sweets.

Flavors: Caramel, Caramelized Sugar, Licorice Root, Vanilla
