127 Tasting Notes
Not sure what about this tea is supposed to be manly, other than alleged health benefits, but its not very nice to drink at any rate. There is plenty of fruit notes that would be good drinking, but under that all is a weird pasty flavour, almost like wet flour. I think that is the bean peels coming through. I managed to somewhat hide this by sweetening the tea, but it’s just not good. It’s not bad enough to pour the tea out over, but it’s bad enough that I am going to look for someone to give this tea too.
Maybe a man.
Flavors: Peas, Pineapple

Oh, this is a pleasant surprise. I was a bit skeptical about the flavour, but it smells amazing and brews a pleasantly creamy cup. It does actually remind of creme brule! though it is more custardy than any burnt sugar coming through.
Flavors: Cream, Custard, Vanilla
Preparation
I remembered these fruit teas as being amazing last time I had them, but I may have been spoiled with other teas since. The peach flavour is very artificial, like peach candies, and i’m not picking up on the passionfruit at all, this would not be an unpleasant flavour if it did not clash with the bitter tea as much. I felt the combination made it rather medicinal, like those flavoured disolvable painkillers kids get sometimes. Not very enthusiastic about that.
Flavors: Bitter, Candy, Medicinal, Peach
Preparation
another really pleasant tea, with no bitter tones at all, it’s an easy drinking evening tea. There are many other flavours at play however: rose, liquorice, cinnamon. it’s a really nice, if somewhat sweet, balance.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Floral, Licorice, Rose, Sweet
Preparation
This is, undoubtedly, one of my favourite teas in my collection. It’s warming and calming in a non-sleepy way due to the warm notes of clove and nutmeg but also the strong tea. A go to for any time of the day, preferably with milk and sugar for me personally to add a creamy note and make it almost taste like cake!
Flavors: Bitter, Clove, Nutmeg
Preparation
An interesting tea indeed, I think it might be the first tea i’ve ever had that had specific bramble flavour, rather than the more generic “forest fruits”. Pleasantly surprised that it avoids being soapy, but indeed provides a pleasant fruit tea.
Flavors: Blackberry, Tart
