This was fine. The black base was actually better than expected and the maple flavor wasn’t too overwhelming or cloying.

Had my first cup of this lovely blend in a while and it was so tasty. Nice starchy sweet potato quality that pairs well with the sweet potato notes in the base, with a touch of warming spices.

This smells absolutely incredible- white chocolate and jasmine. It actually reminds me of one of my favorite fragrances (Nightgown by Solstice Scents which has very similar scent notes to the flavor profile in this blend).

Just a beautiful scent and beautiful flavor.

Another acquisition from Paris.

This definitely benefits from a shorter steep time, as it starts to get bitter right around the 2 minute mark. Not quite pancake, but definitely banana and maple. But not gross, cloying maple that is so often found in maple flavoring. This is quite pleasant- more of a brown sugar, caramelized flavor. The banana flavor is quite mild.
This would probably be really nice with some sweetener and milk.

Bought this is Paris and just now getting around to trying it. I don’t know if I’d describe the flavor as pecan pie necessarily, but it’s definitely some kind of nutty baked good. Maybe more almond/marzipan in a pastry crust. I like it, but I got a touch of a medicinal aftertaste that wasn’t great.

I love this tea. Super strong violet flavor with the milk oolong. chef’s kiss Definitely lots of milk flavoring added but I don’t mind in this blend.

I never quite connected with this one for some reason. The base got a bit buried under the flavoring.

The last cup was definitely the most peanut buttery, with just a touch of raspberry.

Sipdown 18 – 2024

I don’t love pomegranate teas, but the addition of pear really helps this for me. Such a bright, juicy pear flavor.
