Absolutely delightful. Smooth. Chocolatey. No need for anything else. Like love.

Unfortunately that does it for my sample – I hope there is more of this in stock soon!

It really did taste just like a cantaloupe. :)

Not a fan. :( I like green tea, but the flavors in this tea are too subtle for my taste, and it’s almost salty. Maybe too seaweed-like for me.

Oooh I love the smokiness. It really does taste like the smell of a campfire, which is somehow an adventurous and yet comforting flavor. The rooibos is not at all overpowering – it just melts into the background, and the aroma of the tea is much stronger than it tastes. I really enjoy this and can see myself drinking it again and again – maybe even having some on barbecue nights!

Drank it again in the evening last night and couldn’t finish again…. it’s too much like juice!

This tea had a minty scent when I smelled the dry leaf, but upon brewing it it tasted like a smooth – yet pretty normal – black tea with sweet notes. I still like it though! I just didn’t find it to be what the aroma promised.

Bio

Tea reminds me of home and family. Black tea with milk and honey was a gift of love growing up.

I’ve since gained an appreciation for Japanese green tea and matcha, chai (brewed Indian-style in milk with a very strong black tea and spices), Kashmiri tea, and tisanes. My tastes definitely have broadened since I stopped having sugar in my tea.

Since joining steepster, my world has been transformed by Laoshan Black 1st Picking – can’t believe an unflavored tea can taste like cocoa! It made me wonder what the black tea I’ve been drinking all these years is. My current favorite is Metropolitan Tea’s Cream Earl Grey.

I also have really enjoyed the tisanes – especially Roasted Almond by Capital Teas, which I keep bringing with me to share with others.

My tea tastes are also heavily influenced by the places I’ve been… ginger tea reminds me of Southeast Asia, sage tea reminds me of Syria, very strongly brewed black tea reminds me of Iraqi family, milk chai reminds me of India… I love to rekindle the tastes of places, from home to far away, in my cup.

Loves- matcha, rose, cardamom, bergamot, saffron, almond sencha green, cinnamon, ginger, and chocolate.

I do NOT like chamomile, rooibos, genmaicha, or flavored green tea, and I have an odd relationship with hibiscus, oolong, and licorice (I like them only on select occasions).
