From Harney & Sons

Florence is our popular and delicious Chocolate Hazelnut Tea. Though we can’t always sip hot cocoa while sitting in the Piazza della Signori or gazing from the top of the Duomo, we can enjoy this decadent blend of chocolate and hazelnut while dreaming we are there. Kosher.

Black tea, chocolate flavor, vanilla flavor, almond flavor, hazelnut flavor.

I resteeped yesterday’s leaves with less water and a longer steeping time. I got a slightly more favorable product, but still not tasting the chocolate. The nuttiness is nice, but not what I’m expecting. I wonder if I’m doing this wrong somehow.

Another tea from the generous box of samples that LiberTEAS sent me! The super-long reviews say it all, this tea is amazing! This is the flavor that Stash Teas Chocolate Hazelnut WISHES it had! I have to try it with vanilla Silk next cup!

My husband made some of this tonight after dinner. It was so good. Very nice way to unwind after a busy, noisy day.

Mmm, wish I had more Florence right now. I never really could figure out what the flavor besides chocolate was (hazelnut, I know this now!) except that it was delicious and nutty. Lovely plan or with milk and sugar.

Enjoyed this tea (thank you Kristin!). It has a darker taste than most flavoured blacks, without being bitter. The chocolate wasn’t overpowering, even if I would have been happier with more hazelnut. I’ll need another couple cups before I decide whether or not to invest in some.

Delicious, nutty with a bit of cocoa. Perfect for this cold day! Kind of reminds me of roasted chestnuts. Yum!

Making my way through these H&S samples feels like taking a mini-vacation; yesterday I explored London, this morning it was Paris, and this afternoon found me in Florence .. Each has been most enjoyable with it’s different sights, scents, and of course local flavours, but it was Florence that made me stop in my tracks and looking for a B&B so I could linger for longer .. Mmmm, from the very first sip this tea had me hooked!

I tried it with & without milk & sugar and prefer it a little sweet, but could go either way with the milk depending on mood and time of day .. I think perhaps black in the am when I’m after more ‘tea’ and milk after lunch as it really brought out the chocolate hazelnut flavour .. It does seem to me to be more of an afternoon tea anyways .. And (imho) this is no sipping tea – It’s full bodied and best drunk it gulps from a very large mug :D

This too has been put on my shopping list and I can’t wait to offer it to guests!

I am very impressed by this tea.

I read the descriptions, and was kind of expecting something like hot chocolate with hazelnut flavor. However, this is definitely TEA that tastes like a chocolate belgian praline, or somewhat like nutella.

I don’t know what they did to flavor it like this, but it even has just the right hint of sweetness. In no way does it taste fake, and it is very smooth.
Makes me want another cup!

Inkling Advent Day 6. I received this tea in a swap many years ago before I started leaving Steepster notes, and I remember absolutely loving it at the time. I don’t enjoy it as much this time around. The flavoring is giving me more of a chocolate liqueur vibe when paired with the slightly astringent black tea. Maybe different brewing methods would help, but I don’t really find myself liking H&S teas these days, so I’m not sure. I was still glad to try this again after all these years though!

I used to love this one but sometimes it is just off, hard to describe

Been years since I’ve had it, but at the time, I remember drawing the same “just off” conclusion.

The aroma is incredible. I don’t even want to drink it, just sit and smell ti all day. Flavor is a bit of a letdown, understandably, very nutty. Good snow day tea.
