630 Tasting Notes
This is a great iced tea! I enjoy it hot as well, but I think the sourness and tang from the orange really lends it to being a particularly refreshing iced tea in the summertime. It isn’t so special I would buy it full price, but if it were on sale I would repurchase.
Preparation
This is an enjoyable, mostly fruity tea. I wish I tasted more rose, and I definitely wish I tasted any oolong, because I think it could have been really fabulous if it were more balanced. Alas, it is not, and I will finish up what I have and enjoy it, but probably not get it again.
Preparation
This makes a pretty tasty iced tea, but isn’t super special. Like all of my other Teavana tea, I got it during a 75% off sale, which is the only thing that really makes this one worth it. It was dirt cheap, but not particularly special. I will enjoy using it up, and perhaps pick it up again if it is on sale again at a later date.
Preparation
This tea is tasty but I will never purchase it again. It is ridiculously overpriced given what you get, and other oolongs from other brands are just as tasty.
This flavor is very mild, floral, and green. It holds up to many steepings, as most oolongs of this kind do, my main gripe is that it just isn’t that special considering the price.
Preparation
After learning how to best brew it, I am a big fan of this tea. It is VERY floral – it is like drinking straight flowers. So if that isn’t for you, then steer clear! I’ve found this does not taste good if oversteeped, and actually is most balance when I stick to 2 minutes of steep time. I had never had lavender tea before this and now I plan to seek out others. The only problem I had was that I was introduced to candied violets. My cup has never seen the candied violet because I admit, when I see them I pick them out and just eat them straight. I am now on the hunt for candied violets that aren’t an arm and a leg!!
Preparation
Chai is my favorite to drink in the cooler weather, and I love having a caffeine free version. I got a lot of this during one of the 75% off sales, and sort of wish I hadn’t. It is delicious, but I wish the spices were a bit stronger. I have to use more tea than I normally would to make a cup that has flavor even after I add almond milk.
Preparation
I was shocked how much I love this tea. I prefer to steep it for 10-15 minutes, because then it takes on this very sweet, very spicy, “red hot” candy kind of flavor. From there I usually drink it plain, or with a bit of milk, as a dessert tea.
Preparation
I enjoy this one very much (iced particularly), though it is slightly more bland than the berry herbals. I prefer being hit in the face a bit more with these, as I only drink them when I am looking for a healthier, less sweet, juice replacement.
Preparation
I really enjoyed this tea iced, though I was surprised at how sweet it was. Definitely not a sour cherry flavor, which is fine, but anyone looking for that be warned! I personally prefer a more sour, tart flavor from these kinds of herbal teas.
