So, I finally got the Zarafina I ordered some time last century. (Or maybe the beginning of the month, I forget which.) It was very, very used. To the point where I was worried it would still work when I took it out of the box. But I got it all cleaned up, figured out how it all went together, and then thought about what I should baptize it with.
I decided that an Earl Grey would be good, and opening my cupboard, the A&D tea darn near fell on me. Right then. A&D Earl Grey it would be then.
So I looked at all the dials, read the instructions twice, and just jumped in. And it worked fine!
And the tea was good, as usual. Yummy. The bergamot was bold, the tea was lovely and just – YUM. I love this tea. If you like an Earl Grey that is loud and lovely, this is for you.

TEAVALANCE.
Actually, that might be a cool name for a company.
I have to start attempting to like Earl Grey. So far, only Samovar’s blend has made me go, hrm, not bad. And Samovar’s Scarlet Sable, which is pretty much lapsang and Earl Grey rooibos I think, and I LIKE IT WHAT. Lemon chicken.
Okay I’m done. Too much caffeine.
Try the specialteas Earl Grey de la creme. I like it because it’s like a semi-sour orange creamsicle on top of the nummy tea. But I personally find that I need the milk and sugar (or half and half and splenda) with the earl grey, otherwise, I find it very meh. Yum.
This is pretty much the FACE PUNCH of earl grey, and I like it that way. ;)
Yay you got your Zarafina! I was wondering what was going on with that, since I hadn’t heard you mention it in a while. How are you liking it so far?
I’m definitely liking it. Today I got to use it like 4 times (working from home) and I adore the convience of it – the rituals around tea make it special, but sometimes I just want a cuppa. Know what I mean?
sorry to be off topic, but where can you find out more about the zafarina and where to buy? I google it and get a link to esquire magazine’s comment about it and that is it. Hrmm.
