Description

A pure and delicate tea produced in an exclusive growing region in limited quantities. Unprocessed tea leaves are almost completely white giving this tea its name, An Ji White Tea.

The An Ji Bai Cha harvest area is protected and only leaves picked within the designated area can be considered as An Ji Bai Cha. This tea is one of China’s top ten green teas.

Origin: An Ji county, Zhejiang province, China

Flavour profile: Refined | Fresh | Bamboo

Processing: A very short picking season of around 30 days in early spring ensures the leaves are plucked whilst still white. The Bai Ye Yi Hao cultivar produces very little chlorophyll in lower temperatures, creating the white appearance unique to this tea.
