  • “I’m a newbie tea drinker (especially to herbal teas), but I really enjoyed this tea. The licorice root was pretty incredible – such a lovely, sweet aftertaste, nothing like licorice-flavoured lollies.” Read full tasting note

From T2

An infusion to soothe and ease a sensitive stomach. A peppermint base with earthy liquorice root, aromatic fennel and marigold petals produces a light and bright infusion. Fresh and minty flavours play with sweet liquorice to finish. A medium-bodied digestive with soothing flavour that doesn’t overwhelm.

Ingredients: Peppermint, liquorice root, fennel, marigold petals

Brewing Guide: 1 tsp per cup, 3-5 minutes steep time, 100 degree C (212 degree F) water

The licorice root in this is amazing – it doesn’t taste like licorice candies, there’s just a very smooth and sweet general flavour and aftertaste. It’s definitely not overpowering, and the fennel seeds and peppermint help balance out the sweetness with freshness.

I tried it iced in the store and was sold, it’s just as yummy hot – better, even, as when cold the peppermint harked back to mouthwash a little bit(!).
