From Stash Tea

An artfully crafted herbal blend of rosehips, lemongrass, orange peel, hibiscus, Meyer lemon oil and safflower. Meyer lemons are a cross between a lemon and mandarin orange. They are a burst of lemon flavor without the lip-puckering tartness. The juicy lemony taste and fragrant aroma of this tea is a delight any time of day, hot or iced.

Ingredients: Rosehips, lemongrass, orange peel, hibiscus, citric acid, meyer lemon oil, safflower

Steeping Instructions: 3-5 minutes at 190-209 degrees Fahrenheit

This is a very fruity tea. After drinking the tea I looked up meyer lemon to see what it was and it is a fruit native to China that is thought to be a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange. I notice that the ingredients don’t actually have any meyer lemon but it tastes like I imagine a meyer lemon would taste like.

This was very good and I plan to buy some next time I see it in the store.

This is a nice lemony tisane. Nothing spectacular but an enjoyable cup, and convenient.

Kristal

I didn’t mind this one iced. As you mentioned though, quick and easy.

Good stuff, love the tartness of it. Best when you wait for it to cool down a little. Tastes really great when bvrewed with a raspberry tea.

Tea 6/6 of the sample pack I got off of amazon. I cold brewed this tea by putting four tea bags in 2 L of cool water and steeped for about 20 hours.

This tea is just like the lemon ginger tea Stash sells (minus the ginger of course). It tastes like I squirted a little bit of lemon juice in the water. Overall it’s okay, but I made it a little weak. Next time I will maybe use 6 tea bags. I’ll def use it up but I prefer my lemon teas without sour notes (like lemongrass or lemon myrtle) so I probably won’t repurchase.

Overall, the 6 box sampler pack I got off of amazon from stash was disappointing. There’s only 1 tea I would consider repurchasing. The rest of the teas were just ok and disappointing. Other than that 1 tea (Wild Raspberry Hibiscus) I don’t think I will buy from stash again since so many of their teas were disapointing.

I’m finally getting around to trying the rest of the Stash samples that I got several months ago. I picked this one today because I wanted something fruity, but not a Hibiscus tea. While this does have some Hibiscus in it, it is what I was looking for. It’s very lemony, a bit tart, but not too tart, and faintly herbaceous. I like it, and I’ll probably end up buying more in the future.

Another find at Ross.

I do love me some lemon tea so I had to grab it.

Quite lemony. In fact, I don’t taste anything else. No complaints.

I experience this as a pretty sedate lemon, and I need more pizzazz in my lemon teas. But my friends like it.

Definitely lemony! It sort of tasted like a liquid lemon head candy. I found it too be a bit too powerful for me hot, but with a little sugar, it was yummy chilled. Tasted like lemonade. I might keep a small amount in the house, especially in the summer.

Tangy! Friday afternoon and day 3 of my sore throat and cold. I need something caffeine-free and this is given to me. It is citrusy, but I am not a big fan of hibiscus in teas. Having said that, the Meyer Lemon is dominant. It’s an alright tea, but I wouldn’t buy it or have it as my first choice.
