I love this tea that I found in the Tea and Cards TTB because it has vanilla, a bit of mint and big tones of confectioner’s sugar. I do not love this tea because there is a sort of plastic-y taste to it as well. I would drink it again, but that strange taste is annoying. Is it just me?

KiwiDelight

It could be that the tea is old? Della Terra hasn’t offered it since last spring.

I got enough of this for one mugful from KallieBoo! in a mystery stash sale box. It was actually a lot yummier than I expected. It definitely is a nice balance of chocolate and mint, and quite a decent amount of both. A lot of chocolate mint teas I’ve had before have been weak on the chocolate or the mint or both. This was rich chocolate and tingly mint. I didn’t get vanilla, though, but that may have been because it just combined in with the chocolate flavor and made it creamier. I don’t know. All I know was this was a very nice treat for myself this morning.

Sipdown!! (170)

Thank you Fjellrev for sharing some of this tea with me. It was fun to have on St. Patty’s Day and the smell is always so mouth watering. Tastewise, the chocolate is strong at the front of the sip but ends on a nice mellow minty note. It really is quite delicious though not something I am too upset about saying goodbye to as I am sure I have similar teas in my cupboard.

Looks like a blend I would like as well.. minty chocolate black.. yum. Sad to see they didn’t do it again this year… but hey, I have a smidge of their peppermint bark left anyway. :)

Today is St. Patty’s Day. It’s the first tea I thought of to drink. A little cliche I know but whatever. Even though I don’t think it’s close to what they drink in Ireland (see link below) I still think its good. It has an interesting grassy, chocolate-y, minty flavor to it.
