From DAVIDsTEA

How do you make lemonade even more delicious? Just add ripe, juicy strawberries. Then turn it all into the sweetest, most citrusy iced tea ever. That’s exactly what we did with this ultra-iceable infusion. It’s got all the bright tanginess of our favourite summer refresher, plus a fruity twist we can’t get enough of. Serve it on ice with fresh berries for a poolside treat kids will love. And when cocktail hour rolls around, gather the gang and brew a crowd-pleasing pitcher spiked with a little somethin’ extra – it’ll totally knock their sunhats off. Lemonade will never be the same again…

Ingredients: Apple (apple, citric acid), hibiscus blossoms, blackberry leaves, candied papaya (papaya, sugar), lemongrass, beetroot, strawberries, marigold blossoms, natural strawberry and lemon flavouring.

Price per 50g: $8.98

I find that this tea lives up to its name-as good as it can made with tea ingredients. Of course it isn’t as great as sugary loaded strawberry lemonade, but it is better for you. I imagine it would be delicious in a pitcher with cut up fresh strawberries and slices of lemon added to it.

*Update: AMAZING!! With some strawberry kiwi sugar as sweetener and a mix of frozen strawberries and ice to cool it off. I also ate the berries as a mini snack after I finished drinking my iced tea. I made it again the same way but decided to add some lemonade in there to top it off and it is now the BEST DRINK EVER!

Went to the mall today and after the hot bus ride was really craving an iced tea. Decided I wanted to do something citrus-y so I decided to go with this.

I can definitely hit the spot on the citrus notes. It was pretty much like drinking watered down juice. I don’t know if this screams “Strawberry Lemonade” to me though, considering I’d actually forgotten I decided to go with this one instead of Orange Passion-fruit. Still, not a bad tea. I personally found it kind of of similar to a rosé sangria I once had, which was more on the grapefruity side.

This is definitely my favourite out of the new mini collection. While it is like Electric Lemonade, it’s much better with the nice strawberry flavour and without the citric acid in the blend (which made my tongue hurt) So yeah this is pretty good for me! I really like this one. Will definitely get more!!

Iced Tea!

A very beloved brunch spot here in Montreal called Arthur’s is featuring Strawberry Lemonade as an iced tea on their summer menu (same restaurant that carried Latkee Love this past winter), so we’ve been doing some different social media content surrounding the collaboration. All that to say, I had to make a couple different iced teas for filming this afternoon – and of course the best part of making tea for social content is drinking it afterwards.

This was a bit of an “extra” iced tea. In addition to the regular iced tea concentrate you’d use I also sliced up a lemon and added those wedges into the drink and topped it with a little bit of lemonade for an extra sweet and lemon-y iced tea. Delish!

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

A lot like electric lemonade. I usually would prefer teas without strawberries in them, but this one is pretty good.
