From DAVIDsTEA

Discover the power of vanilla and oolong, with a little hint of orange. It’s temptingly rich. We’ve used Pouchong tea leaves, the least oxidized of oolongs. Which means that it’s almost as high in antioxidants as green tea. A lucky thing, because this tea is really quite addictive. Who would have thought that something this smooth and creamy could be so healthy?

Ingredients: Taiwanese pouchong oolong tea, green tea, lemon myrtle, marigolds.

It’s my newborn, er I mean, my last purchase. It doesn’t have a strong taste and it’s sweet enough to drink alongside fruits. I have it in lattes most of the time because it’s deliciously creamy. It’s a tea a friend told me a lot about so I decided to buy it. Totally worth it!

I love this tea. It is the second Oolong I purchased and definitely my favourite. It has a very smooth, soft taste that grew on me almost instantly. Perfect for a cold, calm winter day when you’re looking for a bit of warmth and confort. Of course, it is a given that if you’re not a big fan of vanilla, you might not like this one. I also wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a spicy tea or black tea lover.
I have never tried it with milk and don’t think I will owing to the fact that the tea itself, without any milk, is already delicious.

This is definitely one of my favourites from Davids Tea. It was the very first one I bought but I always go back to it! It is a great tea to drink when you get home from work to relax and unwind. I don’t find the taste overwhelming at all and in fact I find the smell and the smooth taste to be quite subtle! I would definitely recommend this tea for someone looking to unwind.
I usually drink this tea straight but it is also great when you add a little bit of sugar or agave!

This was one of the first oolong teas I’ve ever purchased, and I absolutely love it! The smooth vanilla notes, mixed in with the non-overpowering oolong taste make this one of my go-to teas for the mid afternoon, when I’ve got time to savour the flavour and colour of the tea.

This tea is pretty nice, and it’s a good one for a long day in a cold office since, being an oolong, you can re-steep it several times. I agree that it takes some getting used to, but I quite enjoy it now.

I’ve never had a flavoured oolong so I wasn’t quite sure how to take it. Black? With milk and sugar? I decided to go with milk and sugar because the scent was so creamy and sweet it seemed right.

At first I was disappointed. The tea is so fragrant but when I first tasted it, it was very mild. I continued to drink it, though, and with each sip that buttery flavour everyone is talking about became apparent. I think I’d still brew it a bit longer next time.

Quite a unique experience. Not an every day tea, but definitely something worth trying.

I had a plan with this tea. I thought I’d try it in a latte after reading some of the comments here, to see if that would make the butteriness less apparent. I think it was the right choice!

It sort of reminds me of an orange smoothie Popsicle. It has a certain creamy, buttery vanilla taste, but I think the citrus orange flavour is quite apparent and absolutely great!

In the words of Hannibal Smith: I love it when a plan comes together.

In the bag, the leaves and vanilla smell amazing. When I started drinking it, I was blown away by how buttery it was. I’m not used to that flavor, so hopefully after a few more cups it won’t be so weird.
