I’m finally trying this tea! This was a gift from a co-worker who is also an avid tea drinker, she was the one who got the variable temp kettle for the office I think :) so thanks to her!! I have been wanting to try this tea but I always get a bit worried about trying new teas with nuts, especially since this company has a tea with peanuts in it, luckily not this one! Haha
The dry smell is so familiar..Alpine Punch!! That wonderful almondy marizpan smell! Yum. I brewed about 1 tsp (maybe a bit more) for 5 minutes with boiling water as per the directions. It smells like Alpine punch..looking good!
The taste is where this differs from Alpine Punch, in a good way! This one is much more natural, no flavorings in this I don’t think, so you get more rooibos, a natural almond, and the spices are very present too! I got a few mouthfuls of pepper earlier lol, now it is mellowing as it cools. A very tasty little blend, and a very nice gift! I’ll have to get her some tea on her birthday :)
Oh, and not many notes lately as I have been crazy busy..work, gym, started a new course for work, and more exciting things that I will talk about later! Too tired tonight haha!
