13 Tasting Notes
I LOVE this tea! I’ve only tried it hot with a little sweetener (honey), but I think it would taste really good iced as well. I only have about one serving left. And since this flavor is no longer available at DAVIDsTEA, I probably won’t get to try it iced :-( I really hope they bring this one back, because it’s been the tea I automatically reach for when looking for a caffeine-free option. The grapefruit, rose, and blackcurrant notes are especially noticeable for me — love these flavors…just the perfect ratio of fruity-floral.
Flavors: Black Currant, Grapefruit, Rose
Preparation
At first, I really liked this tea. I like fruity, floral green teas. And this tea is definitely that — although more fruity than floral. But over time, I haven’t reached for this tea out of my cupboard as often or as enthusiastically. It tends to leave a bitter after taste. I tried drinking it iced one time — never again! The bitter, medicine-like after taste was even stronger. This tea is definitely best hot with a little sweetener. And I will continue to drink it that way until I run out. I may not re-purchase this flavor right away, but probably would in the future.
Flavors: Bitter, Goji, Hibiscus, Medicinal, Rosehips
Preparation
Currently my favorite morning green tea steep. I steep for 3 minutes and pour it over a little honey and a slice of lemon. A perfect way to start the day!
