14 Tasting Notes
I like chai tea and I like teas with coconut flavor, so I was excited when I discovered this lovely combination! It is has a spicy warmth with a hint of sweet coconut. It taste good as it is or add a little sugar to it.
Side note: I found some yummy cookies called mini coconut crunch by Voortman (bought from Walmart) and they are the perfect compliment to this tea!! YUM!!

This was the first of “the Twelve Days of Christmas” tea gift from a friend that I have anxiously and excitedly been waiting for since she told me about it’s arrival! Which is ironic because while I was counting down the days for sharing this gift, I am now FREAKING OUT that there are only twelve days before Christmas…go figure. :)
I have to admit, I am not a cotton candy lover (boy, this day is just filled with irony…because typically I am a connesuir of all things sweet…) but, even though the name suggests “cotton candy” I would not have guessed that flavor if I had not been told what it was. The tea was okay, a nice black with a slight sweetness, but I wasn’t making any heartfelt declarations of love or even experiencing timid flutters of infactuation with it.
I had this tea a while back at a lovely tea house where I had lunch, tea and dessert with a dear friend. The owner gave us some to take home and I am now reliving that wonderful day. While I don’t have the carrot cake to enjoy with the tea, I still really love the flavor. I have never had a Pu-erh tea or anything with chrysanthemum that I am aware of, but the combination was delightful: warm, spicy and slightly floral. I am going to resteep and find some kind of dessert yummy to enjoy it with…after I eat my dinner of course! ;)
Fast forward to now: ate my dinner, resteeped the tea…delish with warm apple pie. This tea is a perfect companion to sweet yummies!
Loved the warm, pepperminty aroma that immediately hit me. It is very pleasant and cleared my sinuses as a bonus. The tea taste great as it is, but I then tried to recreate a chocolate mint tea that I had recently by adding a splash of chocolate creamer and YUM! I hope it’s not too early to be this decadent…
