48 Tasting Notes
very good tea, well worth $5 an ounce. I definitely taste a chinese black tea with a hint of cocoa. It has a similar body to a chinese keemun but there is no smokeyness just a taste of cocoa. Not real sweet but definitely could drink this everyday. I have respect for this tea.

This is by far my favorite oolong tea. Its very floral and refreshing. Its like taking a sip from the fountain of youth and savoring every moment. This has to be one of top oolong tea from Mandala and best oolong I have had. The only reason why I do not give it a 99 is because I get about 7 flavorful cups from the gaiwan out of this, but well worth the money.
Flavors: Flowers
I bought an ounce of this not expecting much because it was a cheaper tea ($4.50 an ounce) but I really enjoy this tea! I am a big fan of Keemun black tea and this is very similar. I believe the Chinese have the best black tea. This one does not disappoint, I trust this source being that it comes from Yunnan. All high quality Yunnan black tea have a honey/sweet potato taste, this one has this plus a very light smokiness.
