Followed Mandala’s directions for steeping-
1st steep 30 sec- leaves only started to unfurl, most still balled up. Taste- oolong with sweet chaser.
2nd 1min- some leaves still balled up, wet leaf smell much more like oolong, more creamy oolong up front sweet chaser comes out more as water cools
3rd 1 min 30 sec – lost end sweet, nice light oolong
4th 2min- sweet more in front, then creamy oolong, then sweet again
5th 2min 30sec- tea still good
I really like this tea.
I’m ready to move onto another tea, though I think I could get several more steeps out of this tea. Downside, filter of gravity steeper required thorough cleaning. I really need to get a gaiwan.

Gaiwans are good for steeping your tea in and cleaning the tea out. I think it allows for the tea to open up more, and the flavors to expand as well as the tea leaves.
