38 Tasting Notes
The taste is fine, but nothing special — mostly like mint (and a little bitter). I wouldn’t drink it for the taste alone, but the ingredients are beneficial for aches and pains. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in pain level after drinking it, but it seems to be a little effective.
Flavors: Peppermint, Spearmint
This tea has a simple, pleasant taste (like a light jasmine green tea), and is very effective for what it promises. Note, though, that it contains senna leaf, and should not be taken too long-term or your body can become too reliant on needing it to go.
Flavors: Green, Jasmine
The taste doesn’t move me much one way or the other, but this does seem to be a great tea for insomnia. I try a lot of “sleep/relaxation” teas, and this is one of the most effective I’ve tried. It was even recommended to me by my acupuncturist, who’s really experienced with all types of herbal remedies. I’ll be buying this regularly as a sleep aid.
“Bright” is the best way to describe this. It’s filled with flavor, and all of the notes blend together cohesively into one great tasting tea. Turmeric Ginger is one of my favorite types of tea, and in terms of very strong flavorful versions, this is one of the best (though I could see it being too overwhelming for some).
The perfect combo of sweet and bitter, without leaning too far to either end, with a burst of lemon as well. Great for waking up in the morning, but also for winding down at the end of a long day.
Flavors: Ginger, Lemon
I drink peppermint tea mainly for the health benefits (very stomach-soothing), and I’m picky about the taste since some peppermint flavors are too bitter/strong (like Altoids). This one is a nice moderate peppermint tea, and manages to be strong without being overwhelming or too bitter. It also seems like a great bedtime choice, as I felt pretty sleepy after drinking it.
Flavors: Mint, Peppermint
I drink a lot of green tea, and a lot of ginger tea, but this combo didn’t do it for me — I think because of the “hint of pear.” I don’t really like pear, and somehow despite having mostly “bitter” ingredients, this came out tasting too sweet for me. It wasn’t horrible, but not something I’d be interested in drinking again.
Flavors: Pear
Flavor-wise, this is one of the best teas I’ve ever had, and I love that it also has health benefits (immunity, skin, and more). It’s sweet with an underlying tartness, which I appreciate as I don’t like teas that are too fruity/sweet without any kind of “sour” undertone to balance it out. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes the taste of blueberries!
Flavors: Blueberry
I really enjoy this tea — it has great health benefits, nice packaging, and a smooth/subtle inoffensive taste. The flavor is mostly lemongrass; I didn’t pick up any other tastes, so the Feverfew must not have very strong flavor. But it does seem to help with migraines! I’ve gotten migraines for around eight years now, and have tried lots of remedies (both pharmaceutical and herbal). I don’t know if this tea alone could cause someone to never get migraines again, but it certainly seems to help minimize them.
Flavors: Lemongrass
A decent tea, full of proven detoxing ingredients. As for the taste, it has a very “chai”-like flavor profile. I don’t love the flavor itself (I don’t enjoy chai tastes, and it’s somewhat spicy), but it has that soothing/warm feeling that I look for in any good tea, so I would still drink it again. I also enjoy the health benefits.
