Oh Cocoa Canela, how I love you so so so much! This tea does not look like tea at all when you look at it. It is a variety of twig like shapes, flakes, chocolate chips and other unidentified objects covered in cocoa powder. I have to admit, that I have not had this tea straight; I have only ever had as a latte or with milk and a bit of agave, regardless, its absolutely amazing; so much so I have 350g stored away… Shhhh don’t tell.

UPDATE: I had this straight this morning, not as good… best to just stick with a tried and true method of having it as a latte or with milk. Still I absolutely love it!

Flavors: Chocolate

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 15 sec 1 tsp

Growing up, I hated tea. Everything about it from the way it smelt to the way it looked absolutely repulsed me. Until one fateful day, I walked past DAVIDsTEA and accepted one of the samples they they to force down your throat. The clouds opened, and the tea angels sang a heavenly tea song. I was addicted. My tea cupboard of wonder contains 63 different teas, and its growing daily. I do not have a tea base preference because when I’m craving a cuppa, I let the cupboard beckon me, and let fate decide. My tea cupboard is nearly famous, since most people ask to marvel it. However, the rules of the cupboard are: you do not talk about the cupboard, you DO NOT talk about the tea cupboard… and its strictly look, don’t touch. My tea cupboard is organized by base, then alphabetized under each category. Some call it crazy, but I call it AMAZING (and maybe a little OCD)
