27 Tasting Notes
I drink this tea more than any other tea I own. If I can’t decide what to drink in the evening, I pick this one. It’s always good and always makes me feel great. I drink a cup of it almost every night in bed. I have gone through several bags of this. :) It’s minty but it’s got other flavors that all just work together to make my tummy feel great before going to sleep. I’m not sure I can pick out the flavors it says are in it…it’s just good. I always steep it AT LEAST 10 minutes (sometimes much longer)…otherwise it is too weak for me. I use a tablespoon in a large mug.
I’m not typically an oolong fan…but this tea is delicious. It really does smell and taste like lemon pound cake! The lemon is creamy and not overwhelming. It’s a really nice treat for the afternoon when I need a little caffeine kick and want something reminiscent of a sweet treat.
You definitely have to boil this tea on the stove for five minutes to get the full flavor. We like to serve this during a meal. Love this simplicity and tastiness of this tea. We would get this tea (or roasted barley) at Korean restaurants and I always loved it! Glad I found it at the store.
