A flavorful tea which was a birthday present from friends who have no clue as to what loose leaf tea is. I am not sure how they picked out this perfect fruit infusion tea but I am glad it is here! I love this tea for the fullness of flavor in it and look forward to it warming up and becoming a staple in one of my iced teas collections.

drank Oh Canada! by DAVIDsTEA

I am experimenting with making my own blends from David’s Teas.

I love Rooibos tea but Mixing Oh Canada! & Birthday Cake together was not much of an eye opener. It’s just a stronger tea but that’s probably due to the amount. I don’t really detect a difference or blending of flavors. It is still a wonderful tea but I’ll still be looking for a more creative blend.

For my second steep I broke one of my tea rules and added a sweetener. I added spelnda french vanilla and it changed everything. Just the enhanced flavors jumping out at me, catching me by my surprise. I definitely recommend adding a little bit of a sweetener to those who want an experienced with their tea.

I am completely loving this almost vanilla type tea. I love it that it both reminds me of winter with warm baked goods as comfort during a chilly winter, and also of summer days fill with treats.

drank Mint Matcha by DAVIDsTEA

Being new to matcha, this one helps to ease into the taste and texture of it easily. My second matcha and with good flavor. The mint stands out but the matcha overpowers it. I definitely recommend this one as a stepping stone to those getting into the world of matcha. I am glad that David’s Tea has expanded their matcha line and hopefully both honor and educate the world about the Japanese tea, as they have with the rest of the teas.

drank Mocha Matcha by DAVIDsTEA

This is my first matcha and before I discovered tea, you would have never found me even trying this or any type of matcha, even for free. But now with being a tea lover and david’s tea fan, I am willing to try anything once, even if it had been once out of my comfort zone. The Mocha Matcha to me was a positive experience and I recommend to anyone, especially since we are on steepster because we are tea lovers, to try it. Like the tea adventure, the books to go along with this tea are for people to try to read out of their comfort zone.

Inspired by David’s Tea Perfect Match tea blends, I have started my own. My first mix was Cotton Candy with Big Apple.

I brewed it as a white tea and recommend not a long steeping time. It tasted most pleasant this way. I would definitely try this blend again.

This is a tisane for the definite sweeter taste bud carrying person.
