1962 Tasting Notes
Lupicia does it again. Another absolutely astonishing fruity tea. I love the oolong base with the fresh white peach flavor. The aroma is incredible as well- like you’re biting into a white peach picked right from the tree. Compared to Alphonso Mango (which I sipped last night), this is a bit more true to the actual fruit, and is less candy-like. Still, I think I prefer the former.
Flavors: Floral, Peach, Stonefruit
Preparation
I have been wanting to place a Lupicia order for forever (I know, I’m late to the game), and finally did so. I was so excited for the package to arrive, that I ripped into it as soon as I got home from work at 8pm. I’d been craving mango, so decided to try this one first (despite it being black, and it now being 8:15pm…and I have to wake up at 6am tomorrow). Lupicia, I’m sorry it took so long for me to find you. This is an absolutely exceptional fruity tea. It really does last just like a mango candy, and the smell (both dry and brewed) is absolutely captivating.
Flavors: Candy, Mango, Sweet
This remains my favorite Lupicia flavored tea!
I love Kotobuki and have been disappointed that since the closure of the California division of Lupicia USA, they never added that flavor to the Hawaiian USA Lupician storefront. :-(
