This wonderfully nuanced tea is organically grown and harvested from the ancient tea tress of Yunnan, China. This special grade, “Jin Cha” (Gold Tea) is produced using only younger golden leaves – other grades have a mix of black tea leaves and gold tips. Not as deeply flavored as the more common Golden Yunnan black tea, the infusion still retains the raisiny spice and a slightly malty finish. Very smooth and well balanced the tea can be enjoyed through multiple infusions.
