Description

Early spring 2011 material from 60 to 80 year old tea trees (老太地/野放茶) growing wild on the southern slope of Ba Da mountain not far from Menghai town in Xishuangbanna. Ba Da mountain teas are unique and rarely pressed in this “single-estate” style, rather they are typically blended with other area teas.

Our pure Ba Da tea is unique with hints of tobacco and pine in early infusions. There is definitely some bitterness present that will remind some of Bu Lang, but it is countered by a fruit and pine needle taste and aroma.

A thoroughly enjoyable Ba Da experience!

Tea weight: 400 grams (stone pressed in the traditional method)
