Man Tang Xiang

“Man Tang Xiang” or (Fill the Room Aroma) is a type of high fired hand-processed green tea. The leaves are rolled by hand into a dry wok in small batches, firing time is short but temperature is high. Skill is needed to accomplish a good result. You might find this tea is similiar to Gunpowder tea (平水珠茶) in its appearance, but this tea being Yunnan large-leaf varietal is unique in appearance and flavor. It is similiar to Yunnan Bi Luo Chun in many respects, but the leaves are darker in color. The aroma is both floral and sweet, the mouth-feel is full and stimulating.
