This tea is made of emerald needle-shaped leaves, a colour they acquire after spending three weeks under coverings before the harvest. The name of the tea means ‘jade dew’, brew a pale and bright green liquor, and the taste has an interesting complexity; while slightly marine and saline, it also has vegetal notes of chlorophyll and green vegetables.
