This is the classic Green China tea. These tight balls of grey-green leaf were originally mistaken for the explosive ‘gunpowder’ by 16th century traders! Lightly brewed expect a hint of China sweetness, with a dry smooth taste. Less ‘green-leaf’ tasting than Japanese Sencha.
