Description

Origin: Blended
Leaf Type: White and Green Tea with Flavouring
Taste: Turkish delight
Drink: Without milk
Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil
When to drink: Throughout the day

White Lemon and Rose Tea is a delicately perfumed blend that delights the senses. Light and refreshing, it is a flavoursome tea that can be drunk at any time of day.

It has its origins in the Middle East, where soft sweet rose and zesty lemon are used as key ingredients in many of the region’s most popular dishes. As a base for these exotic flavours Whittard has used fine white tea made from the youngest leaves and buds that are dried naturally in the sun. To give the blend a fuller taste we have added miniature bricks of compressed green tea. Using real peony petals instead of roses, the result can be likened to the sweetest Turkish Delight – soft, sweet and intense.

White Lemon and Rose Tea is perfect for savouring without milk on its own or after dinner as a treat.

Brew a Perfect Cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and use freshly drawn water which is heated to around 80 degrees. You can either pour the water before it reaches boiling point or allow the water to sit for a few minutes afterwards. Allow to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.
