This is a small batch shou Puer blend of ours with thickness, sweetness, and the bolstering fragrans of the bamboo and the flame. If you smell and taste a sweet, green note with you first rinse the tea, that is the bamboo. It will show up in the cup and the aromas surrounding your session throughout. The texture and mouthfeel of the Puer with be heavy and silky, with a bit of residual moisture, as this tea was only made a few months ago. The soup will become increasingly soft and visually will have improved clarity as the tea ages. This is the highest end shou Puer I’ve used in bamboo roasting so far – I hope you enjoy the results.
