This Oolong from one of the finest estates in the Nilgris district is a true cup of surprise. The long, slender, greyish green leaves have a distinct tropical aroma. The liquor is a bright sunny shade. Each sip offers a nutty freshness infused with tropical fruits and a hint of a bouquet of orchid, cherry and orange blossoms. A luscious experience, quite unlike flavours of the region. Add a drop of honey or a little sugar to enhance the flavour and set the tone for a memorable evening.
Established in the year 1835, the Glendale tea estate is located right next to the scenic city of Coonoor in southern India. It is a dignitary of the famous Nilgiris range and lies at an elevation ranging from 4000 to 6000 feet above sea level. Due to the cold, dry and misty climatic conditions, their leaves are characterized by a brisk and golden color which distinctively bestows the savory floral aroma in their teas. The total planted area constitutes 525 hectares which yield approximately 3000 kgs per hectare. Glendale is among the most recognized Nilgiri tea plantations and follows all global production stanadards
