Hand picked and air dried. Perfect hot or blended with ice. Lemon Verbena (Aloysia triphylla) is a deciduous perennial shrub native to South America. It is also called Lemon Beebrush. The leaves are used for flavoring in cooking; when the leaves are crushed, they give off a gorgeous lemon citrus aroma. Traditionally, lemon verbena has been used medicinally as a digestive aid, de-stressor, anti-spasmodic, to reduce fevers, and for strengthening the nervous system.
