A true legacy of the Tang Dynasty and described in reverence in Lu Yu’s famous book, Cha Jing, Classic of Tea… Mountain Yellow Buds was an official Tribute Tea in the Tang, Ming, and Qing dynasties. It is believed that the method of producing it was actually lost around the time of WWII.
