Da Yu Ling Oolong tea is grown at an altitude of 9,240 ft (2,800 m) in Taichung county in central Taiwan. Da Yu Ling is one of the highest tea plantations in the world. The tea is grown in the shade of clouds and fog, which allows the tea leaves to grow at a slower rate. Slower growing leaves have a more concentrated aroma and a more complex taste. Da Yu Ling Oolong is widely sought after by tea connoisseurs for its high quality.
Da Yu Ling Oolong tea has a pure and sweet flavor. It also has a cool fragrance. Due to its high elevation, the flavor is stronger and can be brewed for more infusions.
