From the same trees as our “Secret Forest Buds” that we offered last year, this year selected the bigger leaves that were picked a bit later. These have more depth of character than bud heavy teas. This forest has some of the oldest wild trees I’m aware of growing in quantity. The leaves were picked and processed as puerh tea – an interesting contrast to our “Secret Forest White” tea that were naturally withered without the kill green stage.
The tea is smooth, thick and vibrant. It’s very elegant for wild tree tea and there’s a strong and smooth energy. Compared to other wild tree teas, this is very elegant and refined.
