DESCRIPTION BREWING GUIDE
Moonlight White tea was created by tea master (Taiwan) Zhou Ren Zhi in 1994. This tea is different from the regular Pu-Erh teas, which are dried by the sun-light; whereas this tea is produced at night, hence, it is dried by the moon-light. The farmer picks the leaves from the wild arbor tree under the moon-light. The tea leaves are moved to a special room which keeps the light away in order to slow down the oxidization.
This tea cake is of good quality in that the leaves are selected from the tips and the second leaves. The tea cake is a beautiful mosaic of white and black coloured leaves.
The fragrance of the dried leaves is appealing. There are hints of a mix of flowery and fruity aroma. The liquor is a bright orange colour. The taste is very delicate with a comfortable sweetness.
