Sipdown (2623)!

Took me a long time, but I finally finished off this tea earlier this afternoon. It made for a very nice medium bodied black tea with a touch of up front astringency that I felt really well mirrored the notes of walnut present in the mug – kind of like the natural dryness of eating raw walnuts. It was also malty with a golden honey-like undertone and a bit of a graham cracker note mixed into a floral finish.

Not the most amazing black tea I’ve had, but for one with such a unique and experimental terroir I think it’s really quite solid!
