Description

NANNUO – First harvest 2012 spring – 200gr.
Terre de Ciel raw pu’erh tea cake.

This spring the Yunnan suffered, yet again, another drought. The repercussions were poor harvests but teas with character. This tea comes from the old Bama trees in Nannuo Shan: a region in altitude, still well-preserved. It was harvested from trees belonging to Souan Er and Pi Lou (photo below).
This cake was traditionally made and stone-pressed. Our friends Ming and Zhong He (Lie Yun Tang company) helped us in the choice and making of this cake. Recently, Lie Yun Tang acquired his own little factory, thus enabling us to take in and oversee the tea making process firsthand. The wrapping was designed by the Yunnan Gallery ( Aude Frère) and printed in Jinhong on traditional Dai paper.
