Origin:Shangjiao Village, Fenghuang Town, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China

Plucking Standard:One bud with two leaves

Dry leaf: Long and fat leaves, slightly curled, it is in dark brown color that makes up most of the leaves but there are still some green leaves mixed in.

Aroma: Natural orchid fragrance with a hint of milk flavor

Liquid: Bright and clear in yellow color

Mouthfeel: It tastes sweet, smooth and soft with lingering sweet aftertaste in the mouth, mixed with natural orchid fragrance

Tree Bush: Da Wu Ye tea cultivar (about 40 years old)

Tea garden: Shi Tou Jiao Tea Garden, about 950 meters altitude

Da Wu Ye, literally means Big Dark Leaf, is one cultivar of Phoenix Oolong tea family, leaves of this varietal are usually very large and in dark color, hence it got its name. Da Wu Ye is a typical representative of Qing Xiang Dan Cong Oolong tea that is famous for its natural orchid fragrance. According to the different plucking seasons, Da Wu Ye Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong Tea can be harvested in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The leaves of Teavivre’s Da Wu Ye were plucked in spring, which belongs to light-roasted Dan Cong Oolong tea.
