Description

Tealux is proud to present to you our Mi Xian Alishan Black tea from Taiwan. This is a rare find, and one of the newly developed Taiwanese tea strains that are only just finding their way onto the international market.

The expressive and adaptable Jin Xuan tea strand is the base of this tea, grown in the unique terroir of the Alishan mountain range in central Taiwan. Mi Xian Alishan Black tea is produced in a similar manner to the world-famous Beauty teas of Taiwan, bearing a trace of leafhoppers that add character and depth to the blend.

The characteristically creamy, velvety body of the Jin Xuan tea strain shines through in every sip, while thorough oxidation provides an exotic, fragrant fruitiness, topped off with wild honey and lightly citrussy notes. Well-rounded tones of wild cherry, lychee and pineapple finish off the flavor palate, in a truly unique brew that is sure to impress.
