Have a legendary tea party with this mildly smoky blend of Chinese Yunnan black and Indian Assam teas – the two original variations of camellia sinensis on the planet.
The Indian Assam is an orthodox leaf that comes from the Chota Tingrai estate and the Yunnan is a Bi Luo Chun Hong Cha, or golden snail tea. For this type of tea, large Yunnan tea leaves are rolled into tight golden striped spirals, similar in shape to another famous tea, green Bi Luo Chun or Green Snail Spring.
The medium leaves of the bold Assam add a brightness to your cup while the golden curls of the Yunnan golden snails mellow it all out. A great way to start your morning with a gentle natural sweet smokiness or to help power you through the afternoon.
