Description

Grown mainly in the Anhui, Jiangxi and Zhejiang Provinces, Chung Mee is the green tea of choice for many in China, enjoyed all day, everyday. This high quality tea follows the tradition of rolling, which skillfully produces fine, taut and curved tiny needles, giving the tea its name, ‘Chung Mee’ or ‘Precious Eyebrow’. A particularly pleasing Chung Mee with a light, smooth and mellow taste. There is no bitterness, like many inferior green teas, but a hint of fresh plums and a pleasant, lingering, fresh taste. Uniquely, for convenience, this fine quality China leaf tea is milled for serving in tea bags. Allow freshly boiled water to cool for a minute or two. Infuse for 1-3 minutes, according to taste. As with many high quality teas, can be infused more than once.
