“The last of this. Tried it in a gaiwan just because I could and it really brings out the sweet honey scent, also a hint of smoky. Tastes light (not in flavor but in type of flavor) and very nice.” Read full tasting note
Grown high in the pristine mountain air of the Himalayans, this remarkable semi-fermented Nepal tea combines the characteristics of a high-grown Darjeeling and a soulful Oolong. The oxidation process of this entirely handmade Oolong has been carefully monitored by the estate manager and stopped at about 40%, just at the peak of its aromatic bouquet.
This beautiful plucking boasts a high percentage of unopened leaf buds and silvery tips. The infusion is a golden amber cup with a flowery, fruity aroma that delivers clean, smooth flavor with natural sweetness and a wonderful, satisfying aftertaste. A quiet, well-rounded tea with many nuances!
