Our cotton candy iced teas have been a big hit, so I decided we really should have a caffeine-free, honeybush version.

Lots of honeybush flavour – maple, brown sugar, wood, brandy
I don’t get a lot of cotton candy (just a hint, a bit fruity), but it goes well with the honeybush.
Flavors: Brandy, Brown Sugar, Fruity, Honey, Sweet, Wood
This one is from the 52Teas takeover sale a while back. I took a teaspoon out of the iced tea pouch to steep it hot (luckily this pouch was resealable). The honeybush is amazingly tiny since it’s for iced tea! I don’t think the flavor of the honeybush is better this tiny though… but again, it may be because I’m not cold steeping it. The tiny honeybush almost has a mild black tea flavor, like Ceylon. But there is a lot of sweetness from the cotton candy anyway! Probably better iced. But the rating goes to the accurate cotton candy flavor!

I like the cotton candy flavoring with the honeybush base. I’m not getting a strong ‘nutty’ or earthy flavor from the honeybush, just that lightly sweet, honeyed flavor and that melds nicely with the candy floss flavor. It tastes like fluffy, sweet cotton candy. A pitcher full of yum.
