Rich aroma, strong, malty flavor, highly sought after.
From the Banaspaty tea garden in the Karbi Anglong district in the Assam Valley of North-East India comes this medium-bodied Asamese tea, biodynamically grown among tribal communities that directly benefit from organic fair-trade farming in the region. This fine grade of tea consists of young tea buds blended with the uppermost leaves of the tea plant and its flowers, supplementing its rich aroma. This dark copper-colored tea goes well with milk and sugar and is a good morning tea.
