Holy basil (Tulsi) spearmint, rosehips, lemon myrtle and linden blossomsberry flavoring. Holy basil leaves are a nerve tonic and sharpen memory. They promote the removal of the catarrhal matter and phlegm from the bronchial tube. Spearmint is rich in Vitamins A and C and contains smaller amounts of Vitamin B2. It also contains a wide range of essential minerals such as manganese, copper, iron, potassium and calcium. Rose hips are particularly high in vitamin C. But that’s not all. They also contain vitamins A, D and E, essential fatty acids, and high levels of antioxidant flavonoids which are known for their antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antiallergenic properties. Lemon myrtle contains the compounds citral and citronellal. In fact, lemon myrtle contains a higher content of citral than lemongrass, lemon peel and some other plant sources. Lemon myrtle also contains essential oils that have antiseptic, expectorant, analgesic, astringent, antirheumatic, anticonvulsant, antineuralgic and hair tonifying properties.
