7542 formula is considered as the standard for a green Pu-erh tea cake. 7542’s balanced blend is created exclusively with selected leaves from the Menghai region, home of the finest Pu-erh tea in the world. Its distinctive medium to full flavor and distinguished aroma appeal equally to both new and experienced drinkers.
2009 saw us running through many blends in Menghai until we found this one, the one a Korea tea merchant also liked and bought. Our share of tea was compressed, and then it was left in Menghai. I remembered it was a powerful tea.
In 2014 we are delighted when we sit down and taste it, it aged nicely, rich and mouthful, aromtaic, and sweet.
