Long thin leaves resembling pine needles. Tender and delicate leaves are harvested in the early spring. The tea is made by using 1 bud and 2 leaves with fine white hairs on the buds. The delicate leaves infuse an aromatic nutty flavor combined with a pleasant tiny bitter-sweet touch and a sweet after taste.
