Poomong, near the famous Tiger Hill, is one of the three gardens belonging to the prestigious Namring tea plantation, created by the British in 1855. Their tea trees, resistant to the cold and the high altitudes, are arranged between 1370 and 1525 metres and impart a remarkable character to the tea.
Leaves: glistening pearly-coloured silver buds amidst jade-green leaves, they exhale aromas of white flowers, hazelnut, and golden sesame.
Nose: delectable inflections of vanilla and baked Comice pear with a fresh hint of poppy.
Liquor: the crystalline robe in Forsythia-yellow brightens the palate with a bouquet of young lily and almond flower, followed by joyfully fruity bursts of pomegranate, lychee and white fig.
Its ample body enhances sweet variations recalling cotton flower, refined and elegant.
A dazzling cru, brilliant as a clear sky.
