“Tea 2/11 of the tea I got from M&K’s etsy shop. I got a green tea sampler pack (10 teas) + they threw in one sample which was also a green tea :). Each of the samples I got were enough for 2-3...” Read full tasting note

Description

NGREDIENTS: PREMIUM GRADE DIAN HONG GONG FU CHINESE BLACK TEA.

HARVEST LOCATION: Thyoto, Malawi
TEA GRADE: TSFOP (Tippy Special Flowery Orange Pekoe)

DESCRIPTION:
Buttery, vegetal, sweet…Zomba! This Malawian green tea is ridiculously tasty. Steamed, rolled, and dried, this so-called "Green Velvet" tea produces a beautiful sunflower-oil colored brew, smelling of stone fruit and sweet vegetables. We guarantee this green tea will blow your socks off, and if you aren’t wearing any, you may need to go to the hospital.

CAN I STEEP IT MORE THAN ONCE?:
Definitely. Most green teas (including this one) will change and develop with subsequent steeps. Just leave your tea out while you drink your cup and brew it again! Try leaving your tea in a little bit longer with each subsequent steep.

HOW MUCH CAFFEINE IS IN IT?
This tea has a MEDIUM amount of caffeine. Keep in mind, a longer steep time and a higher temperature will result in a larger caffeine transfer.
